TIDE LINES ANNOUNCE AUTUMN UK HEADLINE TOUR
IN SUPPORT OF THE NEW ALBUM
‘GLASGOW LOVE STORY’
Tide Lines are making a bigger impact than ever before as they build towards the April 25th release of their highly anticipated new album ‘Glasgow Love Story’. Their recent double A-side single ‘By The Quayside’ / ‘Leaving Town’ demonstrates their expanding powers at using evocative Scottish narratives to establish an emotional connection, supported by music that flows naturally between driving indie-rock and intimate folk-pop arrangements. Always a huge draw in the live arena, the band also recently performed in front of 67,000 people as they inspired Scotland to a triumphant Six Nations win over Wales at Murrayfield Stadium.
Now Tide Lines continue that ascendant momentum with confirmation of their autumn ‘Glasgow Love Story’ UK headline tour. It includes their biggest London show to date at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and concludes with a trio of gigs across Scotland at Edinburgh, Stirling and Dundee.
Vocalist / guitarist Robert Robertson says, “We can’t wait to get back out on the road for a run of shows that will include some of the songs from the new album. It’s been amazing to see our fans’ reaction to the singles on social media but nothing beats playing live and hearing people sing along! There are a lot of new venues for us on this tour which is exciting. First up, our adopted home city of Glasgow (which inspired the album) and our biggest ever headline show in Rouken Glen Park!”
The autumn headline tour will follow a summer of high profile moments for the band. First up is the biggest headline show of their career to date, a 5000-capacity outdoor event at Glasgow’s Rouken Glen Park on June 6th, a special opening concert for this year’s The Reeling festival. They will also headline the Thursday night at the HebCelt festival; play a free show at Aberdeen’s Quayside Concerts on July 20th with guest Calum Bowie as part of The Tall Ships Race festivities; and are also confirmed for the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.
