Concerts for a Summer’s Night
An evening of bright and vivid music in sunlit halls
Scottish Ensemble’s annual summer concert brings vibrant string music to open, light-filled venues across Scotland.
With a programme of music ranging from classical to contemporary, including the second part of their new commission from David Fennessy, Concerts for a Summers Night presents a sonic cocktail of bubbling melodies, sweet harmonies, and zesty rhythms.
Returning for its third year, this tour is quickly becoming a highlight of Scottish Ensemble’s concert calendar - marking that special moment in Scotland when days stretch longer than nights, and you start to remember the feeling of the sun on your skin (even if it’s amidst the usual Scottish all-seasons-in-one-day!).
Please Note - Scottish Ensemble is providing a coach service for this concert.
Places are free but limited. There is one wheelchair accessible space, please make reservations through office@scottishensemble.co.uk or call 0141 332 4747.
